Reinstatement Process

Financial Aid recipients who have their aid canceled may have their aid reinstated by:

1. Successfully completing the same enrollment status of the quarter that resulted in cancellation of aid with at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and without receiving State or Federal Financial Aid, or…

2. Submitting a petition to the Financial Aid Office explaining extraordinary circumstances, accident, illness, etc., that would justify continued financial aid.  The Financial Aid Office staff will review and respond to the petition.  If the Financial Aid Office staff denies the petition, the student may appeal and appear before the Financial Aid Council for a final decision.
