Financial aid can lower the cost of a Big Bend Community College education.  The Financial Aid Office will calculate your eligibility for aid using the federal and state financial aid regulations.  Your eligibility will be determined using the information you, and in some cases your parents, submit on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA.  Your award may consist of any combination of grants, loans and/or work study.

Summer 2013 Higher One refunds will be released July 2, 2013.

We are reviewing 2013-2014 aid applications for the Summer & Fall 2013 quarters.  Is your file Ready to Award or do you have missing information?  Check the   now! 

• To apply for financial aid, all students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, the FAFSA.

You can check on the status of financial aid application on the Financial Aid Portal.

Your User Name is your Social Security number.  Your Password is the same PIN you use for registration.  If you haven't applied for admission, it is your 5 or 6 digit birthday.

Priority Funding Dates

Summer  &  Fall 2013     April 15, 2013  Use 2013-2014 FAFSA  to apply NOW!

The FAFSA, the Data Sheet and all requested documents must be received by the Financial Aid Office by the Priority Funding Date.  Late applicants should be prepared to pay their own tuition, books and living expenses.
